    Experience:

    From 1998 to 2002, Mr.Hu was employed by PENAVICO Shantou and then worked for a domestic national law firm in Guangzhou from 2004 to 2008. He joined Wang Jing & Co. in April 2008. 

    Mr.Hu has enriched experience in areas such as M&A, restructuring, IP infringement, labour disputes, FDI, finance, and maritime. 

    Mr. Hu has assisted a number of MNC clients in their acquisition of shares and assets in China. Representative cases he has handled include assisting a Singapore listed company in its acquisition of a terminal operator in Qingdao, assisting a Japanese listed company in its acquisition of a food processing company in Shenzhen, assisting a Japanese company in acquiring several nursing companies, etc.

    He has also handled a number of corporate restructurings for clients, such as the restructuring of a trust and investment company, the restructuring of a distribution company, the restructuring of a logistics company, and the restructuring of a Hong Kong listed trading company.

    Mr. Hu acts as regular legal counsel of a few large Chinese domestic companies and has assisted them in several projects of oversea investments.

    He constantly provides legal services in trademark dispute resolution and other IP issues, including providing services to a famous international fertilizer company.

    He has experience in handling finance projects, such as bond issue.

    He has handled a number of major labour disputes. For example, he was retained by an Australian invested company to deal with the lay-off of more than 100 employees in Beijing and assisted a Japanese manufacturing company in dealing with a labor strike in Guangzhou.

    He has handled dozens of maritime cases, such as cargo claims and ships collision, charterparty disputes, etc. 

    Mr. Hu also has extensive experience in handling other commercial disputes, such as syndicate loan, FDI, labour contract, tenders and bids, construction projects and other general corporate legal issues.
