    Experience:
    Mr. Wang received his LLB from Peking University in 1987 and was admitted as a licensed securities lawyer by China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Ministry of Justice. In 1997, he became a registered tax agent practicing in China.

    Between 1987 and 1997, Mr. Wang practiced in Hubei Legal Service Centre focusing on criminal, civil and administrative litigation. He had represented many defendants accused of economic crimes, such as corruption and bribery, and had handled numerous matters related to marriage disputes, inheritance of property and administrative litigation.

    Between 1997 and 2003, Mr. Wang worked as a partner in Hubei Zhiyuan Law Firm and Hubei Sunshine Law Firm, where he concentrated his practice on matters related to international trade, engineering construction, M & A, re-organizations and the listing of companies. He was appointed as legal counsel to a number of import and export companies. He has assisted various companies in listing securities for water conservancy projects, highway construction and regional railway construction. Recognized by the people’s government of Hubei for his knowledge and professionalism, he was appointed as an expert in enterprise restructuring.

    In 2003, Mr. Wang joined Wang Jing & Co. and has been in charge of Team IV (Corporate/IP Group). His main focus is on matters relating to foreign investment in China (mainly from Japan), acquisition and foreign direct investment. He serves as legal counsel for a number of Japanese companies with investments in southern China. He has also assisted a number of private companies in southern China in matters related to listing and M & A. Furthermore, Mr. Wang is also accomplished in dealing with matters involving ship finance, ship building and ship sales and purchase as well as port construction. In the past three years, he has provided legal services related to the building, sale and purchase of more than 40 vessels, of which the total deadweight tonnage amounts to 3 million tons. He also provides legal services to ports in eastern Guangdong, Dongguan and Guangzhou for port and dock construction projects.

    Mr. Wang has practiced law for over 24 years. He has substantial experience dealing with matters regarding international trade, foreign direct investment, contract, construction projects, M & A, and company listing.
